RK was placed in the top 5 Chevy’s to appear at the show by TheBlock.com, along with a modern Z/28, a ’66 Chevelle, a ’55 Gasser Bel Air, and a 2014 Stingray.
This restomod, now up for sale, was completely redone and given a full no-expense-spared restoration at RK Motors. Built specifically as a show car, this model as a GM LS7 crate under the hood, which pulls over 500 rear-wheel horsepower. It houses Kooks long-tube headers, a Be Cool radiator, Spal fans, new AC Delco plug wires, and is topped off with a Vintage Air front runner system. The SS has been fully upgraded with a modern suspension system from Detroit Speed, including a Panhard bar, tubular control arms, and Koni rollover shocks.
The SS will stop on a dime with its Baer brake system, complete with 14-inch rotors, the brakes are housed in 19-inch Rushforth Night Train wheels.
