The National Street Rod Association (NSRA) hosts numerous events celebrating Hot Rods and other types of muscle cars. Their base of operations is in Memphis, Tennessee, but they have annual events all over the United States.

Their dedicated members are committed to hosting high-quality events for street rods, muscle cars, and classics. History and Street Rod Nationals
The National Street Rod Association was founded after the first Street Rod Nationals, which is now the largest street rod gathering in the world. The editors of Rod and Custom magazine along with different street-rod clubs across the United States formed the first event in 1970. The Street Rod Nationals then led to the creation of the NSRA.
The first Street Rod Nationals was held in Peoria, Illinois, but the event moved to different cities over the years. There was a period where the street rod events were held in Columbus, Ohio, and later they were held in Memphis, Tennessee. Now, the annual event takes place in Louisville, Kentucky.
According to the NSRA, the Street Rod Nationals features around 70,000 participants and 15,000 vehicles.
Originally, the vehicles that participated in the National Street Rod Association events had to be manufactured before 1948, but as of 2010, the NSRA now only requires cars to be at least 30 years old.
NSRA Membership
National Street Rod Association membership includes their monthly street rod publication StreetScene. Additionally, members can also receive special window decals and collector car insurance offers.
Perhaps the most valuable benefit of becoming a member of the National Street Rod Association is the official NSRA Fellow Pages.
