Here at Classic Auto, we keep track of the latest auctions so you can see what’s out there. Here are four recently sold vehicles from Bringatrailer.com: A 1970 Ford Bronco 302, a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe, a 1962 Jaguar XKE Roadster, and a 1969 Cadillac Coupe Deville.
1970 Ford Bronco 302
This 1970 Ford Bronco was last sold in 2015, and the buyer did an overhaul of the vehicle’s 302ci V8. They also re-trimmed the seats in black vinyl, installed a 3-speed automatic transmission, gave it a new suspension lift kit, and installed four-wheel disc brakes.
Current features include a twin-stick dual-range transfer case, Detroit TrueTrac differentials, Warn locking front hubs, 15″ steel wheels, Cibie lights, Pertronix ignition, power steering, short-tube headers, cube off-road lights, a quarter panel-mounted antenna, a single exhaust outlet, and a custom rear bumper with a hitch.
It’s Boxwood Green, and the roof is woven mesh. It has a roll bar and a rear tire mounted in its swing-away carrier. It has a Wild Horses suspension kit and master cylinder, disc brakes with hydroboost, a power steering cooler, and other features.
Inside, it has a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Tuffy locking center console, a Kenwood receiver, Kicker audio speakers, a new fuse box, new seat belts, and carbon fiber sun visors. Its low-back bucket seats and rear bench have been retrimmed with black vinyl.
The odometer shows 38,000, with 22,000 under the most recent owner. In addition to a manual and other paperwork, the Bronco comes with car show awards and a clean California title.
It sold at auction for $49,500.
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was originally Butternut Yellow and has been repainted shiny black. It has a front hood with raised simulated air intakes, front and rear spoilers, a front accent band, tinted windows, and painted black bumpers.
Its power comes from a replaced 400ci V8 with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission, Holley fuel injection, Trick Flow aluminum heads, hydraulic roller camshafts, and MSD electronic ignition. It has chrome-finished 17″ American Racing wheels with Sumitomo HTR 40Z and 45Z tires.
The Camaro’s cabin includes a Vintage Air air-conditioning system, an aftermarket sound system, lap belts, and a GT Grant steering wheel. It has front bucket seats and a rear bench with black vinyl. Its odometer shows 24,000 miles, with 2,000 under the most recent owner and total mileage unknown.
This vehicle sold at auction for $32,250.
1962 Jaguar XKE Series I Roadster
This 1962 Jaguar XKE Series I Roadster was in the same family for 38 years. It has been repainted twice and is currently black with glass headlight covers, chrome-finished split bumpers, fender-mounted mirrors, a louvered hood, a black soft top and top boot, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets.
It has a 3.8-liter inline-six with a 4-speed manual transmission and triple SU carburetors, polished aluminum camshaft covers, and disc brakes. Its wheels are 15-inch chrome-finished wire wheels with spinners and Pirelli Cinturato CA65 tires.
Inside its cabin, there are low-back bucket seats upholstered in red leather with complementing and contrasting black trims and carpeting. Textured metal trim is used in strategic locations. There is a passenger grab handle and an AM/FM stereo.
The Jaguar’s odometer shows 91,000 miles, although its total mileage is unknown. It had a clean Oregon title at auction.
It sold for $73,500.
1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
This Biscay Aqua Firemist blue 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille was purchased from the original owner in 2019. It has been repainted but in the same color as it originally had from the factory.
The Cadillac runs on a 472ci, 375 horsepower V8 with a 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Features include power-assist front disc brakes, rear fender skirts, chrome bumpers, and a white vinyl roof.
It rides on steel 15″ wheels with Cadillac covers and 235/75 Hankook Kinergy ST narrow-whitewall tires. Inside, it has wood grain interior trim, power windows, lap belts, automatic climate control, white rubber floor mats, and front and rear bench seats with white vinyl upholstery.
Shortly before the auction, the Cadillac received a new windshield wiper motor, left front window motor, ignition components, tires, various bulbs, distributor points, and condenser. The horn, dashboard indicators, and backlights are inoperable. It had 47,000 miles on the odometer at auction and a Washington State title.
This classic Cadillac sold at auction for $8,000.
