Rick Drewry: All right, everybody.
Welcome back to Project COVID 1953, our 1953 Chevy 150 project. Just want to talk to you a little bit about the front suspension. There’s going to be quite a change. I’m going to do a little bit of old and new and everything in-between in getting the suspension done. I went ahead and did a couple of little things to it. New sway bar links were put in and then I also got lowering springs for the front. It’s a three-inch drop. I’m hoping it’s not too much because if it is, then I’ll change and go back to maybe a two-inch drop, but the three inch is going to get the stance I want. Hopefully, the ride quality will be good enough that I can live with. So, we’ll see how it goes.
I ended up changing out the springs. I wanted to see how it sat and I’m liking it so far, the way everything is. And then later on, we’ll be doing more with the steering and the suspension, and everything else. It’s going to be completely redone. Stay tuned. More to come on the suspension, but I wanted to give you an update of what I’ve done so far, so stay tuned!
