It’s the event that many car collectors have been waiting for! The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), held in none other than the Motor City itself, will take place from January 14 -27, 2013 at Detroit’s COBO Center.
With all the auto industry shows going on this winter, why is this one so significant? The NAIAS has become a global platform for unveiling new vehicles. The 2012 event featured 38 worldwide debuts and was attended by over 5,000 journalists from 58 countries. This year’s event will have over 500 vehicles on display, and a charity preview event will benefit a variety of children’s charities, adding to over $87 million that has been raised through the preview event’s inception.
