Brilliant Blue Brute Force Of This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air
Named “Brute Force”, this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is owned and built by Bob Mantranga. The car was all hand built in Bob’s shop in Newport Coast, California.
Bob design foundation was what a 1955 Chevrolet would look like if it were built to today’s standards of a modern supercars such as a Bugatti and Bentley. The answer came in a twin turbocharged 540 cubic inch Merlin V-8 with Arias Hemi heads configured to deliver 800 reliable and tractable horsepower but with minor adjustments by turning up the boost wick could produce 1,400 horsepower (aka Brute Force).
