Check Out Specialty Collector Car Classes At Carmel Artomobilia

We are so excited about this year’s Carmel Artomobilia! Classic Auto will be there in full force with an amazing booth and some great cars for you to check out. Don’t forget to mark your calendars to attend the event.

Check out the Carmel Artomobilia website for more information on the judged classes, the corral events, and volunteer registration. There will be a whole host of specialty and collector cars there this year, and the tribute is being designated specifically to Carroll Shelby!

If you have entered your car into one of the specialty classes, let us know what car you’ll be bringing! If you plan to attend the event, check out the specialty classes below to get an idea of what will be at the show

  • FM: Featured Marque – 50 Years of Mustang – This class features original or restored, period-correct, Ford Mustang and Mustang-based production cars and racecars from 1965 – 2014. No replicas/recreations please.

  • EM: Emeritus – This class features exclusively past year's "Artomobilia First in Class" or "Artomobilia Best in Show" winners across all makes, models and years.

  • TN: Then & Now – This class features original, period-correct models, both its past model alongside its present model. Examples include the classic 50's Volkswagen Beetle and the late model Beetle.

  • CS: Carroll Shelby Cars – This class features original, period-correct cars built by and/or influenced by Carroll Shelby from the 50's to the present day, including his influence on the Ford GT.

  • NG: Next Generation – This class features a cross-section of cars, all years, makes and models, that are owned by individuals 18 years or younger. The purpose of this class is to provide a forum for the next generation of car enthusiasts and collectors.

  • GTO1: Pontiac GT0: 1964 – 1974 – Highlighting the 50th year anniversary of the Pontiac GTO brand, this class will feature all original, period-correct GTOs that were built, and in many ways defined, the "Muscle Car" era in American automotive history.

  • GTO2: Pontiac GT0: 2004 – 2006 – Building on the heritage of the GTO, entrants in this class feature the GTO revival from 2004 to 2006 model years represented by an import for Pontiac, a left-hand drive version of the Holden Monaro, itself a coupé variant of the Holden Commodore.

  • CB: Classic Wooden Boats – This class, for exhibition-only in 2014, features original or restored period-correct wooden boats manufactured between 1910 – 1959.
