The famous (or infamous, depending on how well you like their designs) car body design company, Zagato, is celebrating 95 years as a company, and nearly 50 years of work with Lamborghini.
In honor of the celebration, legendary car collector, Albert Spiess has called for the design of a new species of Lamborghini. Zagato has taken the bones of a Gallardo and transformed the exterior, creating what some love and some hate.
The Zagato-created Lamborghini has taken the classic design of the Gallardo and reimagined the entire shell. The grill is now set into the body, the wide-mouthed front end extends past the grill, and they have added large secondary air intakes under the headlights.
There is now a black air scoop on the roof, and minimized side intakes. The rear of the car shows off a wraparound glasshouse with black-out pillars.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the new design? Let us know your thoughts, and if you think Zagato has made the best-yet, if you’re happy with this just being a special edition, or if you hate the new design completely.
