Universal Studios Hollywood is adding a new attraction to the park, a high-definition, 3-D section to the Studio Tour tram ride, by the summer of 2015. The expansion will include a Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction, a Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride, and a Fast and Furious attraction which will take guests through a 50,000 square foot structure that houses a 360 screen. The guests will then be able to view a surround-show in full 3-D, in combination with hydraulic lifts, which will make you feel like you are actually in one of the Fast and Furious cars.
Not only will the ride be an immersive experience for travelers, but the president of Universal Creative, Mark Woodbury believes this “epic storytelling and technological breakthrough” is the hallmark of Universal Studios Hollywood.
We are excited about this addition to the park, and the tribute that will be paid to Paul Walker as a result. We thoroughly enjoy the Fast and Furious franchise, and we look forward to visiting Universal Studios Hollywood in the near future to enjoy the ride!
