The IndyCar Factory is a joint venture between Dallara Automobili, an Italian company which designs and manufactures race cars for many different auto racing events, and the Indy Racing Experience, which lets fans take a spin on the speedway in a two-seater IndyCar. At the Dallara IndyCar Factory, you can catch a glimpse of how race cars are made in their factory tours, as well as check out the different exhibits detailing the technology used in these cars. Many different cars are also on display, and you can get your picture professionally taken behind the wheel to impress your family and friends! Another visitor favorite would have to be the racing simulators, which allow the “driver” to test out his skills on the Indy 500 track.
The crown jewel of this experience, however, would have to be the IndyCar 2 Seater rides! This unique race car is equipped with all the gear (headlights, turn signals, etc.) to make it completely street legal! Guests can pay $30 for a ride in an IndyCar built for two and be driven around Indianapolis in style.
