The Callaway Twin-Turbo Corvette was somewhat short-lived, as Chevrolet only offered the factory option from 1986 to 1991. Still, the car’s short run was historic, as the Twin-Turbo was one of the most powerful sports cars of all time. In 1991, Callaway and Chevrolet made the Twin-Turbo even more impressive, equipping it with a 350 cubic-inch twin-turbo V8. They mated this powerhouse engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, a major departure from previous iterations, which featured automatic transmissions. Callaway and Corvette produced various versions of the 1991 Callaway Twin-Turbo. The Speedster iteration boasted an awe-inspiring 450 hp and 580 pounds of torque, reaching up to 191 miles per hour.
