This time we’re highlighting a 1970 Dodge Super Bee, a 1960 Pontiac Catalina, a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette, and a Porsche 356 Speedster replica.
1970 Dodge Super Bee Hardtop
First up is a sleek 1970 Dodge Super Bee Hardtop 4-Speed. The previous owner acquired it in July 2022 and gave it a new black paint job, along with doing some bodywork.
It has a white Super Bee tail stripe, a chrome rear bumper, dual side mirrors, split front grilles with chrome bumpers, dual hood scoops, 15″ body-color steel wheels, chrome Plymouth Division hubcaps, four-wheel drum brakes, and a four-barrel carburetor. Its tires are F60-15 Goodyear Polyglas GT bias-ply. The trunk holds a full-size spare tire.
The interior has black carpeting, black over white upholstery, two rows of bench seats with white-trimmed vinyl, color-coordinated door panels, and Super Bee floor mats. The steering wheel has a Dodge Fratzon horn button. It also features a woodgrain dash panel, a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter, a Sunpro tachometer, a Pioneer CD stereo, and a 150-mph speedometer
At auction, this 1970 Dodge Super Bee Hardtop had an odometer showing just under 100,000 miles but the true mileage was unknown. It was auctioned with a Georgia title. This vehicle sold for $57,000.
1960 Pontiac Catalina Convertible
This 1960 Pontiac Catalina Convertible had the same owner for 28 years after a decade of storage. Its white body was repainted in 1999 during bodywork, including replacing the right-side door, rear floor, and trunk pan. Other work includes an overhaul of the 389ci V8, red vinyl interior replacement, bumper rechroming, soft top replacement, and convertible motor rebuilding.
It’s equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission, a two-barrel carburetor, power steering, and power four-wheel drum braking. The owner overhauled its brakes in 2008 and added new front shocks in 2016. Its wheels are eight-lug 14″ with 225/75 Coker Classic whitewall tires.
The Catalina’s cabin has two rows of red and white bench seats with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, sun visors, and carpets. It has a two-spoke steering wheel with a half-horn ring, 120 mph speedometer, and total mileage is unknown.
At auction, it came with a red top boot, service records, shop manuals, and a clean California title. The owner noted corrosion on the trunk floor, non-functioning windshield wipers, intermittently working left-front indicator, door paint bubbles, non-functioning fuel gauge, dim dash lights, and a vacuum leak at the intake manifold gasket. This vehicle sold for $25,800 at auction.
1969 Chevrolet Corvette
This glistening gold 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 4-Speed just wrapped up a multi-year refurbishment including body paint to replace its factory Riverside Gold, a re-trimmed saddle vinyl interior, and an engine and transmission overhaul.
It roars with a 350ci V8, four-speed Muncie 22 manual transmission, limited-slip differential, Holley carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, and Borla exhaust components with polished dual exhaust outlets. Its 15″ steel wheels have turbine-style covers with 225/60 front and 255/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Braking comes from four-wheel discs with recently replaced shocks and brake lines.
The Corvette has details like a retro-look digital stereo, Kenwood speakers, Corvette-logo floor mats, flared rear wheel arches, black T-top saddle bags, rear T-top storage straps, removable rear window and roof panels, and retractable headlamps. Its three-spoke steering wheel has an aftermarket wrap, it uses a Hurst shifter, and the cabin features reupholstered bucket seats and color-coordinated door panels and carpets.
At auction, it had a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,350-rpm redline, and the odometer showed 13,000 miles but the total mileage is unknown. It has a few imperfections in the paint and the dash is cracked. Its title was from Texas. This vehicle sold for $20,500.
Porsche 356 Speedster Replica
This is a Porsche 356 Speedster Replica built by Vintage Speedsters. It has a black fiberglass body mounted over a modified Volkswagen Beetle chassis with a black boot cover, headlight stone guards, molded dual side mirrors, a louvered grille decklid, gold badging, a soft top, and side curtains.
Its power comes from an air-cooled 1,915cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It has front disc brakes, dual carburetors, an A-1 Sidewinder exhaust system, front and rear sway bars, front drop spindles, and body-color 15″ aluminum wheels with 185/65 Pirelli P4 Four-Season Plus tires.
In the cabin, you’ll find a wood Nardi steering wheel, low-back bucket seats, and tan leather upholstery and piping on the dash, rear shelf, and door panels. Its carpeting is German square weave. Additional features include a push-button stereo, chrome right-grab handle, door map pockets, Crow Safety Gear lap belts, and an aluminum throttle pedal cover.
When auctioned, it had a 210 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and the odometer listed 2,200 miles with total unknown chassis mileage. Its title lists it as a 1968 Volkswagen. This car sold for $61,000 at auction.
