1957 BMW Isetta 300
This unique 1957 BMW Isetta 300 is a fun find. The Italian-designed microcar features a small egg-like shaped frame and bubble windows. This model in particular recently sold at auction for $20,250.
The vehicle was refinished in a minty green shade and features sliding side windows, chrome-finished nerf bars, a parcel rack on the back, and a gray folding canvas roof. The wheels are white-painted with chrome hubcaps and mounted with Nankang bias-ply tires. This model also features a coil-spring suspension in the front and leaf springs in the rear, with stopping power provided by hydraulic drum brakes.
The interior is accessed by way of a front-opening side-hinged door and features a white vinyl bench seat. Additional interior appointments include a rear parcel shelf and a horn button. The three-spoke white steering wheel matches the vinyl seating and frames a dash pod with a reverse-sweep 60-mph speedometer. At the time of sale, the odometer showed 500 miles.
Power in this vintage BMW model is provided by an air-cooled 298cc single, which is accessed via a panel on the right side of the car. The power is sent from the engine to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe
This model is a modified version of a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe. It was acquired by the seller in 2008 and underwent some upgrades before being sold recently at auction for $36,000.
The original factory finish was a teal blue, but it was refinished in black under previous ownership. The car also features twin white racing stripes, a rear spoiler, hideaway headlamps, aftermarket badging, and chrome bumpers.
The wheels are 18” Forgeline ZX3s mounted with Falken Azenis RT615+ tires. The model is equipped with power-assisted steering and has front QA1 adjustable coilovers and a front sway bar.
The interior features high-back bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl to match the body color finished with houndstooth inserts. There is also faux wood trim on the dashboard and equipment includes a heater, a Hurst shifter, an Eclipse head unit, and lap seat belts.
The steering wheel is trimmed in wood and frames a 120-mph speedometer. The auxiliary gauges are mounted below the dash. At the time of sale, the odometer read 98,000 miles.
The engine was replaced with a 327ci V8 and features an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold and carburetor. Additional equipment includes an ACCEL SuperCoil, polished valve covers, exhaust headers, and a custom exhaust system.
1967 Ford F-100 Ranger
This Ford F-100 Ranger is a classic example of a 1960s pickup truck. Sold at auction for $26,250, it features a Rangoon Red finish with an Aluminum camper shell over the bed.
Additional exterior features include round headlights, dual towing mirrors, chrome bumpers, and vent windows. The camper shell is finished in white with a red accent stripe and comes with side windows and a liftgate. The wheels are 15” steel with polished hubcaps mounted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires.
The cabin is color-coordinated with the body color with red vinyl bench seats, red carpeting, red door panels, and a matching dash. Interior equipment includes lap belts, an AM radio, a heater, and aluminum scuff plates. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal sweep 100-mph speedometer with various auxiliary gauges.
The engine is a 352 V8 and was factory-rated at 172 hp and 295 foot-pounds of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Recent work included replacing the air filter, ignition rotor, spark plugs, and ignition wires, and overhauling the carburetor.
1962 Triumph TR4 Surrey Top
This 1962 Triumph TR4 Surrey Top is a real beauty. It was completed in 1962 and underwent refurbishment in the 90s before being driven in the 2014 Copperstate 1000 rally. The seller acquired it in 2022 before selling it at auction for $50,500.
The car was repainted with a fresh coat of black with red pinstripes. It also features a body-color Surrey top with a removable roof panel and driving lamps attached to the front badge bar. The wheels are 15” chrome and are secured by two-eared knock-off spinners with Michelin X Radial tires.
The seats and door panels on the interior are upholstered in red leather with white piping to match the red pinstripes and the carpeting is black. The steering wheel is wood-trimmed and frames a white-finished dash housing Jaeger instrumentation, which includes a 120-mph speedometer and a 6000-rpm tachometer.
The engine was replaced with a 2,138cc inline-four and is equipped with dual SU carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. The car comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage certificate that shows the factory options, colors, and identification numbers.
